How to play
One phone for everyone · 2+ players · solo or in teams
The host plays a snippet of a song — a very short one at first, a second or two. Whoever recognises it says it out loud. Nobody did — tap «one more second» and the snippet grows, until someone names it or the clip itself runs out. Then the host reveals the answer and marks who got it. On to the next round.
Points: A point to whoever named both the song and the artist. Half a point for naming only one of the two. You can switch on a penalty for a miss: a wrong answer then costs half a point or a whole one. There's a «nobody» button — that round simply scores nothing.
Worth knowing: Before the game you choose where the tracks come from — a country's chart, the world's biggest, English-language, Spanish-language or TikTok hits — and which years. A counter immediately says how many tracks pass those filters and how many rounds that is enough for: an empty selection shows up before the start, not in the first round. Country charts are filtered through lists of local artists, so «Poland» doesn't turn out to be American pop. The internet is needed throughout: the music streams as you play.
Not allowed: Peeking at the host's screen, or running the song through a recogniser on your own phone. If you switched on the penalty for a miss, blurting out guesses costs you too.
