Everyone knows the location except one player. Ask questions to find the spy — or, as the spy, guess the place.

How to play
One phone for everyone · 3 to 12 players · thirteen decks
The phone goes round the circle and everyone opens their card so the neighbours can't see: it holds the location and their role in it. The spy isn't shown the location — only the list it is hidden in. Then questions go round: the first player asks, anyone may answer, and whoever just answered asks next. The locals try to recognise their own, the spy tries to work out where they've landed without giving themselves away. When time is up everyone votes; the spy may cut the round short and name the location instead.
Points: There is no running score here — there's winning the round. The locals win if the vote catches the spy. The spy wins if the votes land on the wrong person, if they split evenly, or if the spy names the location correctly. The match history remembers who was the spy how many times and how often they won.
Worth knowing: Two ways to play: with locations and roles, or classic, where there's only a word. There can be more than one spy — from six players, two is more interesting. The round length is up to you; the classic is six minutes. There are thirteen decks: cities, countries, transport, historical eras, IT, cinema, sport, food, nature, school, jobs — and a separate 18+ one you switch on deliberately. Names are optional.
Not allowed: Asking straight out «so what is this place»: the answer hands the location to the spy, and the question hands the spy to everyone. And don't show your card to your neighbour — a game on one phone rests on that alone.
