The storyteller slips three secret words into a story while the other team tries to spot them.

How to play

Two teams and a host · online room · 4+ players

The team whose turn it is to perform gets a situation for the round and three words. All three cards have to be opened — only then does the one-minute timer start, so it isn't running while they read. They perform without a single sound: gestures and actions only. The other team types its answers on their own screens, where nobody but the author sees them; then the team agrees who sends — and sending happens once. The host then marks each word: guessed or not. Next round the teams swap roles, and so on to the end of the match.

Points: A point for each word guessed — three at most per round. The host can add one more for showmanship, if the performance earned it, and can adjust the score by hand if the table agreed on something else. A team's score never drops below zero. «New match» clears the points and keeps the line-ups.

Worth knowing: The host is not on a team: they don't perform and don't guess, they run the round, pause it and award the points. Anyone who didn't get into a team watches as a spectator. Both team names can be changed, and the number of rounds and the team size are set before the start. The running order is visible in advance — who performs and who guesses in each round.

Not allowed: Saying the word itself or anything from the same root, spelling it out letter by letter, or drawing. The answer is three words at most: reeling off a string of synonyms hoping one lands is not allowed.
